Friends Forever {CTD307}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

I am so excited to be back with another Color Throwdown Challenge creation!  Today, I am not posting as the August Guest Designer, but rather the newest member of the Color Throwdown Team!  I am so excited!! 

I LOVE the colors this week, and just like in the inspiration picture, I used a sunflower! 

I used Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch for the layout, DS165.  I cut a panel of Kraft Card Stock and Blu Raspberry Card Stock using Blueprints 12 Die-namics.  I LOVE the stitched edge and I use this quite often.  I stamped the Blu Raspberry Card Stock panel using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink using the Gingham Background.  I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics to cut the Smooth White Card Stock panel.  I then created the flower using the Sunflower Die-namics using Lemon Drop Card Stock and Chocolate Brown Card Stock.  I cut the leaves with the Layered Leaves Die-namics cut from Jellybean Green Card Stock.  The sentiment panel was cut from Kraft Card Stock using Blueprints 12 Die-namics and I stamped the sentiment, “Friends Forever” from Cheerful Blessings, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

On the inside, I cut another Kraft Card Stock panel and Blu Raspberry Card Stock panel with the Blueprints 12 Die-namics and added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I stamped the Blu Raspberry Card Stock panel with the Gingham Background using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.  I stamped another sentiment from Cheerful Blessings, “bless you for all that you do” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
