MFT December Creative Challenge – Felt!

It’s time for the December MFT Creative Challenge!  This month, the MFT Design Team is creating with our fantastic felt!  I had so much fun creating my projects for today!

I created both a card featuring felt as well as napkin holders to adorn my place settings for Christmas this year!  They were super fun to make!

I’ve used the darling Sno Globe Die-namics to create the snowman.  I cut him out from Sweet Tooth Felt, Black Licorice Felt, Red Hot Felt, Orange Fizz Felt and Hot Fudge Felt.  I layered him on top of a snowflake cut from Sno Cone Felt using the Pierced Snowflake Die-namics.  I used Sour Apple Felt for the band which was cut using the Napkin Ring and Place Card Die-namics.

Here is a closeup of this cutie.  I added some blush to his cheeks to give him a rosy look!  I created ten of these for my Christmas table!

I created an extra snowman when I was creating the napkin rings, and I used him for my card!  I’ve used the current Mojo Monday Sketch, MOJO376 for the layout.

I again cut out the snowman using the Sno Globe Die-namics from Sweet Tooth Felt, Black LIcorice Felt, Red Hot Felt, Orange Fizz Felt and Hot Fudge Felt.  I popped him up with Jody Boosters onto a circle of Sno Cone Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  I then layered this panel onto a panel of Kraft Card Stock cut with the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics.

The main panel of Red Hot Card Stock and Sour Apple Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I stamped the Red Hot Card Stock panel using Red Hot Premium Dye Ink and the “MERRY” stamp from Merry Messages, which I stamped repeatedly to create the pattern.  I stamped the Sour Apple Card Stock panel using the Fine Check Background and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics (I LOVE those scallops) and I added Hemp Cord tied with a Red Hot Button.

On the inside, I again cut two panels with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, this time using Sno Cone Card Stock and Sour Apple Card Stock.  I stamped “Sending Holiday Cheer” from Merry Messages using Red Hot Premium Dye Ink.  I stamped the Sour Apple Card Stock panel using the Fine Check Background with Sweet Tooth PIgment Ink.
