Hi everyone! Happy Thursday and Happy New Year!
I am SO excited to be participating in the Seasons Givings Blog Hop again this year! One lucky commenter on my post today will win a $50 Gift Certificate to my favorite store…My Favorite Things! You have until Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 12AM EST to comment and I will choose the winner on Sunday, January 11 and announce the winner here on my blog! You should have come here by way of the INCREDIBLE Amy Tsurata!
I have a card (and a video!!!) to share with you today! I’ve used the super sweet BB Cool Day set and started by cutting out the bear and glacier using the BB Cool Day Die-namics from X-Press It Blending Card. I then stamped them with BB Cool Day using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and then popped them up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Razzle Berry Card Stock cut with the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics.
The main panel of Sno Cone Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and embossed with the Jumbo Dot Cover Up Die-namics and Embossing Pad Duo. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I just cannot get enough of that scalloped edge! I added a panel of Nightshift Blue Card Stock cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics and stamped it with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Sweet Tooth PIgment Ink.
I added a bow of Hemp Cord and attached a Gumdrop Green Button tied with Hemp Cord. I use these Hemp Cord bows often on my cards and have gotten many requests for a tutorial. I created my very first video tutorial showing you how I create these and you can find the video below (please be gentle! LOL).
On the inside, I cut a panel of Sno Cone Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and stamped the bear again, this time using Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the sentiment, “Have A Cool Day” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics.
Here is my video. Some people say I have an accent but I don’t believe them (wink wink).
