Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time for the MFT Creative Challenge, and this month we are hopping into Easter! As some of you may know, I have two little girls, 8 and 4. One LOVES pink, the other LOVES purple, so I’ve created an Easter card for each of them today!
First up, I’ve created a card for my little one, Avery. I’ve used the adorable Pure Innocence I’m All Ears and stamped her onto X-Press It Blending Card using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.
I colored her with Copic Markers and then added a design to her dress using a white gel pen. I added sparkle to the bow in her hair using a Clear Wink of Stella Marker. I cut out the panel using the new Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.
I cut the main panel of Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I then added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics (I truly cannot get enough of that scallop edge). I cut a panel of Lavender Fields Prestige Card Stock also using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and trimmed it down. I placed this in the center of the main panel, and I then added a panel of Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock cut with Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and stamped with the Polka Dot Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I then added the focal panel, popping it up with Jody Boosters, and then added a Grapesicle Button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside, I cut another panel of Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I added a panel of Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and trimmed down, and also stamped with the Polka Dot Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I stamped “Happy Easter” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
My second card is for my oldest love, Meredith. She LOVES pink, so much so that these two colors, Ripe Raspberry and Cotton Candy, are the colors of her room! I used the sweet Pure Innocence One Of My Favorite Peeps for her card! I stamped her using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.
I added a polka dot pattern to her dress using a white gel pen, and then added shimmer to her Peep using a Clear Wink of Stella Marker. I cut her out using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.
I cut a panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and stamped it with the Fine Check Background using Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I added the diagonal panel of Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock first cut with the Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics, and then trimmed again using Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I cut a panel of Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock using the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics and added that the to the card. I then finished by adding the focal panel using Jody Boosters. I added a Banana Split Button tied with Hemp Cord. This sketch is the current MOJO Monday Sketch.
On the inside, I cut a panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics. I added a panel of Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and trimmed down. I stamped the panel using Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink using the Fine Check Background. I then stamped “To One Of My Favorite Peeps” using Black LIcorice Premium Dye Ink.
