May MFT Release Countdown: Day Two!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

We are SO close to the MFT May Release!  All of the new products will be available tomorrow night at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!  YAY!

I am OBSESSED with the new products I’ve used today!  OBSESSED!  Check out the FABULOUS new offerings from Laina Lamb Design, LLD Tickled Pink and LLD Flamingos Die-namics, along with the new Myriad Dot Background and Cross-Stitch Circle STAX Die-namics.  Swoon!

I started by creating the flamingos, and they are cut from Cotton Candy Card Stock, Pink Lemonade Card Stock and Black Licorice Card Stock.  Their wings were lightly sponged with Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink and then popped up with Jody Boosters.  The heart in the center of them was coated with the Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker and popped up with Jody Boosters.  I arranged them all onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with the AWESOME new Cross-Stitch Circle STAX Die-namics.  LOVE.

The main panel of Pink Lemonade Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I also cut two more panels using this die of Black Licorice Card Stock and Cotton Candy Card Stock.  I stamped the Cotton Candy Card Stock panel with the new Myriad Dot Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I used my MISTI to stamp the background, which I do with EVERY background stamp now, as it makes it SO super easy. 

On the Black Licorice Card Stock panel, I stamped the sentiment, “WE FLAMING-GO SO WELL TOGETHER” (how cute is that, seriously) using Versamark and then embossing the sentiment with White Detail Embossing Powder.  I finished off the front with a rhinestone and two enamel dots.

On the inside, I cut a panel of Pink Lemonade Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I stamped the sentiment, “I’LL STAND BY YOU” from LLD Tickled Pink using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
