June MFT Die-namics Design – Shape It Up!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for the June MFT Die-namics Design feature!  This month we are featuring the fabulous STAX Die-namics…my most favorite!

I have two cards to share with you today, and they both share the same color combo!  My first card features my most favorite, and often used, STAX…the Stitched Circle STAX DIe-namics.  I think the stitched edge just adds that perfect extra touch, and I am a sucker for a circle! 

I’ve used the sweet BB You Have My Heart set, and I cut out the girl and her pup from X-Press It Blending Card using the BB You Have My Heart Die-namics.  I then stamped them using BB You Have My Heart using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic Markers.  I added some detail to her dress with a white gel pen, and I popped up the girl and her dog using Jody Boosters onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

The background panel was cut from Coral Crush Prestige Card Stock stamped with the Tiny Hearts Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, Peach Bellini Prestige Card Stock stamped with the Swiss Dots Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and a Kraft Card Stock panel stamped with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Sweet Tooth PIgment Ink.  All three panels were cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and matted onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics.  I added Hemp Cord and a bow topped off with a Sweet Tooth Button.  The sentiment, “You Have My Heart” was stamped using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink onto the bottom of the main panel.

My second card has a more graphic feel, and hearts cut with the Pierced Heart STAX Die-namics take center stage!

I stamped a panel of Kraft Card Stock using the Diagonal Stripes Background with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I then stamped a panel of Coral Crush Prestige Card Stock using the Tiny Hearts Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and finally, I stamped a panel of Peach Bellini Prestige Card Stock using the Swiss Dots Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I then cut two hearts from each panel using the Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics, and I arranged them and popped them up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Natural Card Stock cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics.  I added a mat of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics.

I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX DIe-namics, and I stamped the sentiment, “YOU’RE CLOSE TO MY ♥”, from Friends Like Us, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink.  I added a Kraft Button tied with Hemp Cord to finish off the front.
