Stamping A Latte: You Make My Heart Melt! {CTD348}

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

I have a card for the current Color Throwdown Challenge, CTD348, to share with you! My card is a tad late…I’ve been out of commission for the past few days thanks to a summer cold! I’m so glad I was able to get in some crafty time! This week, Joan has challenged us to use blue, yellow and red!

I just LOVE this sweet penguin from the BB Penguins In Paradise set! Isn’t he a cutie? I cut him from X-Press It Blending Card and stamped him, using my MISTI, with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using the BB Penguins In Paradise set. I added shimmer to his ice pop using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I popped him up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

I cut another two panels of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. I stamped the rectangle panel using the Tiny Stars Background and Lush Lagoon Premium Dye Ink, and I stamped the square panel using the Diagonal Stripes Background using Daffodil Premium Dye Ink.

The sentiment, “YOU MAKE MY HEART MELT” was stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, with the exception of “HEART”, which was stamped with Red Hot Premium Dye Ink. I added a trio of enamel dots to finish off the card! The layout is the current MOJO Monday Sketch, MOJO403!
