Birthday Wishes! {CTD350}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown, and this week, Lori has challenged us to use green, orange, pink and black!  Such a pretty combo!!

I knew I wanted to use flowers when I saw these colors, so I pulled out the LJD Modern Blooms set and LJD Modern Blooms Die-namics and got to work.  I cut them, and the leaves, from Smooth White Card Stock using LJD Modern Blooms Die-namics and then stamped them with LJD Modern Blooms.  For the flowers, I used Peach Bellini Premium Dye Ink, Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink, Persimmon Premium Dye Ink and Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink.  For the leaves, I used Spearmint Premium Dye Ink and Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink.

I cut a panel of Black Licorice Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and then embossed the panel using the new Split Diagonal Stencil and Embossing Pad Duo.  I then cut the panel again using the new LJD Jumbo Peek-A-Boo Circle Windows Die-namics for the cut out window.  I added a panel of Smooth White Card Stock behind the cut out stamped with “Birthday Wishes” from Birthday Wishes & Balloons set using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I arranged the flowers along the bottom of the frame, and I added sequins/enamel dots to finish off the card.
