Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It’s time for a new Color Throwdown, and this week, my dear friend Barbara has challenged us to use aqua, bright blue and gray! What a great color combo!
I started by creating my background. I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I took a piece of acetate and used two different Zig Clean Color Markers, 031 and 038, and scribbled onto the acetate. I spritzed the acetate with water and then laid my Sweet Tooth Card Stock panel on top. I pulled off the acetate and viola!, a watercolored background! I added a mat of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-amics.
I cut a panel of Steel Grey Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and stamped “FOR THE LITTLE THINGS YOU DO” from LLD For The Boys using Versamark Ink. I then embossed the sentiment with White Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Diagonal Stripes Background (you all know this is my favorite!) with After Midnight Premium Dye Ink and attached it under the Steel Grey Card Stock panel.
Using the Silver Sparkle Card Stock, which I L.O.V.E., I cut out “thanks” using the Many Thanks Die-namics. I popped this panel up with some foam tape onto the Steel Grey Card Stock panel. I added a trio of rhinestones to finish off the card.
Here are the colors for this week!
