MFT October Release Countdown: Day Two!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!

We are SO close to the MFT October Release!  All of the new products will be available tomorrow night at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the new Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics, Crosshatch Stencil and Winter Wonderland set!  I’ve also used three new colors of card stock, Green-Eyed Monster Prestige Card Stock, Poppy Prestige Card Stock and Sunshine Prestige Card Stock!  LOVE all of the new card stock and inks!

I LOVE to create shaker cards, and the Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics are PERFECT for this application!  I started by cutting a panel of Kraft Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I embossed the panel using the Crosshatch Stencil and Embossing Pad Duo.  I then used the Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics to cut the main panel.  I cut a circle of Natural Card Stock using Circle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then used the Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics again to cut the circle panel.  I then placed the Natural Card Stock panel on top of the main panel, lining up the cut out.

I used the Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics to cut the elements for the shaker, and I cut them from Green-Eyed Monster Prestige Card Stock, Poppy Prestige Card Stock, Sunshine Prestige Card Stock and Brushed Gold Card Stock.  LOVE these traditional colors together!

I stamped “WISHING YOU A CHRISTMAS FILLED WITH WONDER AND WRAPPED IN LOVE” from Winter Wonderland using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I then wrapped the card front with Hemp Cord, created a bow of Hemp Cord and then topped it off with a button.
