Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week, Lori has challenged us to use olive green, bright pink, red and gray! LOVE this color combo!
I’ve used the new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO423, for the layout. I started by stamping “Holly Jolly” from Hand Lettered Holiday using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and cut it out using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I layered this onto a panel of Jellybean Green Card Stock cut with the Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. The flag panel was cut from Steel Grey Card Stock using the Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and stamped with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Versamark. I then embossed the panel with White Detail Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.
Behind the flag panel I cut a panel of Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I stamped it with Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink using one of the small stamps from Hand Lettered Holiday. The poinsettia and leaves were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Winter Warmth Die-namics and I stamped the poinsettia with Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink and Cherry Crisp Premium Dye Ink. I added a trio of yellow sequins in the center. The leaves were stamped with Jellybean Green Premium Dye Ink.
The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and embossed with the Circle Grid Stencil and Embossing Pad Duo. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.
