Happy Birthday! {CTD371}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Wanda has thrown down gold, black and white!  LOVE this combo SO much!

I had quite a bit of fun with my card today!  I started with a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I added a mat using Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I scribbled a black Zig Clean Color Marker onto a piece of acetate, spritzed it with water and then placed it onto the Sweet Tooth Card Stock panel.  I LOVE the effect using this method!

I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock and stamped it with the Bold Diagonal Stripes Background using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I trimmed it down and added it to my card, with a strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock trimmed down beneath it.  Using Brushed Gold Card Stock, I cut out “birthday” using the Brushstroke Birthday Greetings Die-namics.  I stamped “HAPPY” using Label Maker Sentiments onto a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with the Label Tape Die-namics.  I finished off the card with a trio of gold enamel dots.
