Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
The Color Throwdown is back with it’s first challenge of the new year! This week, we are up to CTD374 and Broni has challenged us to use aqua, orange and light gray! Before I get to my card, I want to give a warm virtual hug to Tammy Hershberger, one of the founders of The Color Throwdown. We are saying goodbye to Tammy on CTD as she moves on to exciting new ventures and will miss her! It’s not all sad though…two of my dear friends are joining us on the team, which I am SO excited about…Lisa Henkeand Lynn Put! YAY!
I’ve used the darling new Pure Innocence I Heart You for my card today. I cut her from X-Press It Blending Card using the Pure Innocence I Heart You Die-namics, and stamped her using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced the heart on her card with a piece of paper from the Homespun Gingham Paper Pack. I popped her up onto a panel of the same paper cut with the new Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics (LOVE). I popped that panel up onto a panel of Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock cut with the Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.
The main panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock was cut with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I added a mat of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics. I stamped “I Heart You” on the bottom using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I then cut a panel of Orange Fizz Card Stock and trimmed it to size with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I stamped the panel using the new Mini Hearts Background (I am obsessed with this) and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.
