Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
I have a card to share with you today that I created for this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge, MFTWSC264!
When I first saw this sketch, I thought it was the perfect layout for a scene! I pulled out the new (and ADORABLE) BB Ewe Are The Best and got to work! I started by creating the landscape, and I cut the main panel from Green Room Prestige Card Stock and stamped it using the Diagonal Stripes Background using Green Room Premium Dye Ink. I cut the panel using Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I added a strip of Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock along the bottom. I used the Rolling Hills Die-namics to cut the fence from Sweet Tooth Card Stock and the sky from Sno Cone Card Stock.
I cut the flowers and sheep from X-Press It Blending Card using the BB Ewe Are The Best Die-namics and stamped them with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers, taking care to color the sheep with squiggly circles to mimic their coats. I popped the flowers up onto the Milk Chocolate Prestige Card Stock strip, and then popped up the sheep onto the landscape I created, making sure that one sheep was “jumping” over the fence.
Here is a better look at this sweet little sheep! To finish off my card, I added a sun cut with the Sunny Skies Die-namics from Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock and then added two clouds cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the new Puffy Clouds Die-namics.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! You can check out what the rest of the team has created with this sketch on the MFT Challenge Blog!
So cute!! Loving the curls in their wool. :D
ReplyDeleteI was somewhat new to your blog and I loved it. The design layout of it was easy on the eyes and so darn cute. I know most of the bloggers out there in blogland are updating their sites, but I really wish you'd go back to your cute and colorful site. I know you probably cannot, but, I will still be a subscriber because of the content. I enjoy watching you create. Happy New Year.
