Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!
It’s time for a new Color Throwdown, and this week, Broni has challenged us to use orange, yellow, green and white! These colors reminded me of orange and lemon-lime sodas!
For my card, I started by creating the background. I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I used the Plaid Background Builder to create the striped background, and stamped them using Daffodil Premium Dye Ink, Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink and Green Room Premium Dye Ink.
I cut a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and that became the frame for my soda bottle. I cut the bottle from Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the LLD Soda Pop Bottles Die-namics, and I sponged the panel with Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink. I added shimmer, bubbles if you will, using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. The cap was cut from Silver Shine Card Stock.
I cut a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and stamped a sentiment from LLD Soda Pop, “You CRUSHED it” using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed the panel using White Detail Embossing Powder. I added a trio of enamel dots to finish off the card.
Check out what the Color Throwdown Team has created today!
