May MFT Release Countdown: Day One!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

We are almost there!  The big May MFT Release goes live tonight at 10PM, and you will find all of the new products HERE in MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the DARLING new Warm & Fuzzy Friends, Warm & Fuzzy Friends Die-namics and Trail Mix Paper Pack!

I knew I wanted to create a night time scene using these darling new products, and I began with a panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock and sponged on Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, After Midnight Premium Dye Ink and Pure Plum Premium Dye Ink.  I blended all three colors together and then added some shimmer mist to create the look of stars.  I cut a panel of Elf Green Prestige Card Stock using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics for the ground, and I stamped the sentiment, “Sending you Warm & Fuzzy Greetings” using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.

I cut the fox, camp fire and tent from X-Press It Blending Card using the Warm & Fuzzy Friends Die-namics and then stamped them with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Warm & Fuzzy Friends.  I colored the fox and camp fire using Copic Markers, adding shimmer to the flames with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  I paper pieced the tent using a pattern from the Trail Mix Paper Pack and then added some shading with Copic Markers.  I popped the elements up with Jody Boosters and then added a frame, cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock, using the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics.
