April MFT Release Countdown: Day One!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s almost time!  The incredible April MFT Release will go live tonight at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the gorgeous new Beautiful Butterflies, Beautiful Butterflies Die-namics, You Give Me Butterflies and Sentiment Label Strip Die-namics!

As you can see, I am still quite obsessed with creating watercolor backgrounds!  For this card, I started with a panel of Ranger Watercolor Paper which I cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics.  I used Distress Inks to watercolor the background. 

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Sentiment Label Strip Die-namics, and I stamped “You Give Me Butterflies” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink with the You Give Me Butterflies set.  I added two thin strips of patterned paper from the Black & White Basics Paper Pack on either side of the Sentiment Label Strip panel.  The butterfly was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Beautiful Butterflies Die-namics, and stamped the butterfly with Beautiful Butterflies using Sunshine Premium Dye Ink, Pineapple Premium Dye Ink and Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  I added the butterfly to the card along with a Hemp Cord bow.  I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

    WOW Jodi, a beautiful job on your card. The butterfly looks great popped up on the Sentiment Label strip with that pretty background!
