May MFT New Product Launch!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday and Happy MFT Release Night!

Tonight I have a card with share with you using the new Square Peek-A-Boo Window Die-namics and Square Shaker Pouches, which I’ve paired with the fabulous new Mermazing and Mermazing Die-namics!

I had SO MUCH fun creating this card!!!  I started with the background, which is a panel of Ranger Watercolor Paper cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics.  I then watercolored the panel using Distress Inks, and once dry, I cut the panel using the new Square Peek-A-Boo Window Die-namics.  LOVE.  On the square panel that was cut out, I added coral and fish, cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the Mermazing Die-namics and then stamped them with Mermazing using Green Room Premium Dye Ink, Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink, Red Hot Premium Dye Ink and Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink.  The clownfish was stamped using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Once this little scene was finished, I added sequins to one of the Square Shaker Pouches, added the scene and then added it to the card.

The mermaid and the trio of shells were all cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the Mermazing Die-namics, and I stamped them using Mermazing with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored the with Copic Markers and added shimmer with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  I added them to the card using Foam Tape, and then added a Smooth White Card Stock panel, stamped with “I need to SEA YOU SOON” from Mermazing using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I added sequins to finish off the card.

    I love everything about this card. The watercolor background, beautifully colored mermaid and sea life, sweet sentiment, slightly canted peek-a-boo window, and to top it off it's a shaker card.

    Wow, super cute! I have Mermazing in my order, but didn't order the square stitched window. I already own the rectangle one...what a good idea to turn your card into a shaker. I'll have to give that a try. ;)
