U Did It!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

I had a surge of "oohmpf" today and organized my stamps a bit! I have had pompomabella FOREVER...I am talking at least two years (the horrors!) and she has never, before now, been out of her cute little bag, let alone seen ink! It was time she had a chance in the spotlight, no?

I started by stamping her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I sponged a bit of Memento Bahama Blue around the edges after cutting her out with Classic Oval Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is from Report Card by October Afternoon (I think I may need an October Afternoon Intervention) and I used Nautical Blue Dark from Prism. I didn't have a stitch of blue ribbon, so I colored up some with a Copic Marker. The sentiment, "U Did It" is from the Sentiment Grab Bag from Stamping Bella!

I added a bit of piercing around the edge of the oval and on the horizontal panel, and finished this off with two silver brads!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  1. 2 years? Wow!! I'm usually the type to immediately rip 'em open and ink 'em up, LOL! But I will say, lately...I've got several in my scrap room that haven't even been opened and they've been sitting for about a month...oh no!

This is WAY cute Jodi! That pompomabella is just adorable, and I love your choice of blues and that sponging you did around her...very nice.
