March SFYTT Sketch!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! The first Saturday of the month means a brand new Sketch For You To Try sketch! It sure isn't a surprise to see that once again Jen has given us a FAB sketch to work with!

This month, SFYTT is sponsored by Amber Ink!

Here is a little bit about them in their own words:

AmberInk was started by a mother and daughter team. Amber lives in the East, Pam lives in the West. Amber is an Emmy nominated children's animator and illustrator, who creates from her Brooklyn, New York studio. Although they do carry some clear stamps, the company runs by the premise that their customers are more brilliant than patient. If you've been a diehard clear or rubberstamper, they can even help you with the transition to digital. And don't worry about asking a silly question, because as a retired public high school teacher, Pam has already seen it all. Check out the ever-increasing tutorial links, which you can find on the homepage. Hailing from the Hawaiian Islands, the Aloha Spirit is alive and well at AmberInk.com.

There are SO many darling images to choose from at Amber Ink! I chose to work with the adorable Love Bunny - Flowered, along with the sweet sentiment, Some Bunny Loves You! So darn sweet!

I printed the bunny and sentiment onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the bunny with Copic Markers. I cut out the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities, leaving his ears "out of the box" and then cut the sentiment out with Circle Nestabilities. Then, with the paper still in the dies, I traced inside the dies to create the frames. I left open spaces where the sentiment, and bunny foot, would have hit the frame. LOVE the look of this (can you tell? I've been doing it all the time!).

The patterned paper is the SUPER sweet Hippity Hoppity from We R Memory Keepers and I embossed the Hawaiian Shores panel with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.
