MFTeasers: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today is the last day of MFTeasers before the big release, and shop and hop, tonight! WOOT!!! I have two more peeks to share with you today! My first card features this month's Triple Scoop Set, Clearly Sentimental About Success. This set is chock full of fabulous, inspiring sentiments...I just love it! For my card, I chose to feature a quote by Theodore Roosevelt, "The only man who never makes a mistake is the man who never does anything". Love that.

I cut out and embossed the panel with Circle Nestabilities and then sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand and Memento Potter's Clay. I layered this panel over a GORGEOUS doily cut with the new Die-Namics High Tea Doily and Polymer Pop Out Tool. This tool makes using this die a breeze!! I wouldn't want to pop all those pieces out myself!! I added some Viva Decor Cream Pearls all around the edge for some extra pop. I added three felt roses cut with the Die-Namics Mini Rolled Rose Die from My Favorite Felt and then added more Viva Decor pearls in the center.

I used the Die-Namics Flower and Leaf Trio to cut the leaves from My Favorite Felt in Sour Apple. The patterned paper, which you can only see a touch of, is Portrait from Crate Paper. I also added some machine stitching...not sure if you can see it though.

For the inside, I added some more Portrait patterned paper, and a border cut with the Die-Namics Faux Crochet Border Die. I love how this die pairs so nicely with the new Die-Namics High Tea Doily Die. For the inside, I thought this sentiment paired well with the one I used on the front of the card, "Feel the fear and do it anyway".

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card today:

For my second card today, I used the hot Who's That Fiesta Girl, which you may have seen when we previewed her with the VIP Kit earlier this month. Today, I've featured the smaller images in the set, instead of the main WTG image. These sets are SO super versatile! I started with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC and the patterned paper is Salt Air from Cosmo Cricket. I LOVE the colors and patterns in this collection and they pair so well with our fiesta loving girl!

I stamped the maracas, tequila bottle, margarita glass and pepper in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I added shine with my Clear Glaze Pen to the tequila bottle and the margarita glass. I also added some Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter to the margarita glass to mimic the look of salt. They were all cut out with Circle Nestabilities and I added a frame around each one with a Copic Multiliner. I sponged them all with Memento Cantaloupe & Memento Tangelo, and then matted them all onto black cardstock cut with Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.

The sentiment, "It's A Fiesta" was cut out using the horizontal die from the Die-Namics Sweet Stack Dies, and I also added the frame around it from Sassy & Sweet. LOVE the finished look it gives it. I also added a Swarovski Crystal to make it pop. The border was created with the Die-Namics Small Scallop Border Die and I added tons of machine stitching.

For the inside, I created another panel to mimic the front, used the Die-Namics Small Scallop Border Die again, and then added the sentiment, "Got margaritas?" along the angle. I stamped three limes and colored them with Copic Markers. What fiesta is complete without margaritas?

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on this card:

  5. Two great cards, Jodi :) I was going to place an order for the rolled flower and rose dies but there is no mini rose die on their site? When I clicked on your link it goes to the MFT site and says "no product found"?? Do you know if this is what happens when they are out of stock? I'm dying to order these dies but want to get them all at once so don't have to pay for postage twice...can you help out at all?
