She's Here! She's Here!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!!

It's week 33 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fun sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC33!

A friend just had a little girl, so I decided to use this week's Sketch to create a card for them, along with a matching tag to add to my gift.

I started by stamping this darling image from WTG My How You've Grown from My Favorite Things in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers.  The sentiment,
"She's Here" is from the new á la modes in Bundle Of Baby and I stamped it twice onto a panel cut with the Bracket Tab Die-Namics.

I used My Favorite Felt in Puff Cloud White to create the roses, which were cut with the Rolled Rose Die-Namics and Mini Rolled Rose Die-Namics (currently being restocked).  I added a pearl in the center of each rose.  I used the GORGEOUS new Fancy Flourish Die-Namics (currently being restocked) to add some elegance to the card.  LOVE that!  Some machine stitching, lace trim and Blossom Twine finish off the front, along with a pearl in each corner.

For the inside I added some more patterned paper, which is all Lost and Found Market Street, along with this GORGEOUS quote from Clearly Sentimental About Babies:
"Making the decision to have a child is momentous.  It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body".  I LOVE this quote and it is SO unbelievably true.

While I was making the card, I decided to create a little tag to add to my gift.  I cut the base of the tag with the AWESOME new Tag You're It Die-Namics and then, using the Sweet Stack Label Die-Namics as well as the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics (for the larger circle), I created a focal point to add the baby's name, Felicity, which I stamped using the Banner Day Alphabet.  I also added another rose and flourish to match the card.  LOVE.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card and tag today:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC33 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, August 23 to play along.  Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the design team members who used this sketch today!
