When Someone You Love Becomes A Memory {MFTWSC31}

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It's week 31 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week...meet MFTWSC31.  Another awesome sketch indeed!

For my card today, I wanted a more elegant feel as opposed to my normal preferance for "cute".  I pulled out some DELISH papers from Authentique, Uncommom.  You may have noticed that I am a tad bit obsessed with Authentique lately.

I stamped this beautiful sentiment from the new Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy from My Favorite Things, "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a piece of Choice Buttercream cardstock and cut it with Circle Nestabilities.  I layered it onto a piece of cardstock cut with the larger die in the Decorative Doily Duo Die-Namics.  LOVE how elegant this doily is.

I added tons of machine stitching as well as a black pearl in each corner.  I also added a gorgeous grey ribbon and bow created with The Bow Easy.  The grey of the ribbon is the same grey as the lighter color in the patterned paper...love that.

For the inside, I added more of the same patterned paper and a panel with another sentiment, "You are in my thoughts", also from Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used today:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC31 for a chance to win this week prize.  You have until noon Tuesday, August 9th to play along.
