An Apple A Day!

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

It's week 37 of our WSC Getting Sketchy and we have another fabulous sketch for you this week!  Meet MFTWSC37!  LOVING the split panel behind the focal panel!

For my card today, I used the awesome Harvesting WTG.  I guess I am still in a Fall kind of mood!!  I started by stamping the focal image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.  Her shirt was paper pieced with the same patterned papers I've used on the rest of the card, Apple Cheddar Soup from Jillibean Soup.  I actually pieced all three parts of her shirt separately, giving it a more realistic look.

The sentiment, "An Apple A Day" was stamped onto a panel cut with the new Ticket Tab Die-Namics.  I love that it's a bit longer than the focal panel too.  I kept the rest of the card super simple, and added a twill ribbon and bow, along with a paper button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics which I tied with a bit of twine.

For the inside, I added more of the apple pattern paper, and added a border of Hot Fudge Cardstock, which is also what I used for my card base, using the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics.  I then added another sentiment, "A Basket Full of Blessings".

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC37 for a chance to win this weeks prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, September 20 to play along.  Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
