The May SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  It's the first Saturday of the month, and that means a new SFYTT!  Yay!  Here is a gander at this month's sketch:

The SFYTT is very generously sponsored by Skipping Stones Designs this month!

My card is for my sweet little girl, Meredith, who turns 6 today!   My card using lots of MFT Stamps at the request of my little Birthday Girl!  She specifically asked for this sweet little gal to adorn her card, Pure Innocence Freckles from MFT.  She is stamped onto X Press It Blending Card and then cut out and layered with Rectangle 1 STAX Die-Namics and Rectangle 2 STAX Die-Namics, both from MFT.  I stamped the little girl from Pure Innocence Something Special Just For You, and just colored and cut out her crown.  I added it to my little gal...love the look of that!

Her outfit was paper pieced with the same papers I've used on my card, Pretty Party from Crate Paper.  The background panel was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I added borders to the horizontal panels using the new Mini Scallop Edge Die-Namics from MFT.  The sentiment, "Birthday Girl", is from Pure Innocence My Balloon, and I stamped it onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.

I added a felt rose cut with the Large Royal Rose Die-Namics out of Bubblegum My Favorite Felt   I then added some leaves cut with the Royal Leaves Die-Namics cut from Jellybean Green My Favorite Felt.  A bit of Natural Jute Twine was tied underneath, and also around the horizontal panels, which I layered over some yummy  Pink Crochet Ribbon, both of which are from The Ribbon Carousel!

On the inside I added more patterned paper, another border cut with the Mini Scallop Edge Die-Namics, and then a fun element cut using both the Sweet Stack Labels Die-Namics and First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics (the larger circle panel).  I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the new Pure Innocence All Occasion Sentiments.

Here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:

And here are the Die-Namics I've used on my card:
