Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!! Welcome to the MFT Creative Chat - Ink Pad Storage! I LOVE these monthly Creative Chats...mostly because I am nosy and LOVE to see how other people store their crafty goodness!
I have a few (grin) ink pads, and to start, I have lots and lots of SU! ink pads from back in the day when I was a demo. Though I am no longer a demo, I must admit...I reach for these inks quite often. At one point I thought about selling them, but for now I think I'll hold onto them.
I have two ink pad caddies, and one of them is full of just SU! ink pads, while the other one has a mix of SU!, Distress Inks, Versamark and some other random pads that I may not reach for all that often. These sit on a rolling tool cart behind me so I can just get up and get a pad if I need too. You can see that the wall behind them houses my old stamps...really old stamps from when I stamped back in high school (which was quite a while ago).
I also have all (I think) the different colors of Memento ink in Dew Drops. I LOVE the colors of these, as well as the coverage, and I keep them in a basket in a drawer directly under my stamp desk. I like the size of these for storage, and they are easy to hold and dab onto a stamp.
I have a chart of all of my Memento inks that I keep on one of my cabinet doors. I used the gorgeous flourish stamp from Always Time For Tea and stamped each color I have onto a sheet of Sweet Tooth Cardstock. I then wrote in the name of each ink with a Copic Multliner.
Just about every card I create features an image colored with Copic Markers, and thus, my go to ink is Memento Tuxedo Black. I keep two pads nice and juicy on hand at all times in this little cardboard box that sits on my stamp desk. I also have a refill right there so I can add more as need be.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of the designers sharing how they store their ink today! MFTeasers start tomorrow and we have SO many new goodies in store for you! YAY!
