MFTeasers: Day Five!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!  Welcome to Day 5 of MFTeasers...and it's a la modes day!  Yay!!

As always, we have two new a la modes this release, but today I have a card with just the fabulous a la modes in Go For Gold!  She is SO cute!

I stamped her and colored her with Copic Markers.  I added Yellow Stickles to her torch and I love how sparkly it is!  All of the patterned paper is Summer Fresh from Simple Stories and I thought the colors were perfect as they are the same as the Olympic Rings.  I added a sentiment, "Go For Gold" onto a panel cut with the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics and added it to my focal panel.  The circle panel with the chevron pattern, and the layer, were cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.

I was so inspired by the Olympic theme of this cutie, that I cut four circles using the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and then the Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics to create "rings".   I then cut them and interlocked them together, just like the Olympic Rings!  I used Berrylicious, Red Hot, Gumdrop Green and Lemon Drop Cardstock for the "rings".  Here is a closeup.

On the inside I added a panel that I stamped her again, this time in Real Red ink, along with another sentiment, "I Believe In You".  I also added lots of stitching to both the front and inside panels, though I ran out of my heavy duty thread...gotta go place an order.
