July MFT New Product Tour!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Tuesday and Happy MFT Release Night!!  YAY!  All of the new stamps and Die-Namics are available NOW in the Brand Spankin' New section of the MFT Boutique, but before you go fill up your cart, the MFT Design Team has a Product Tour to share with you each and every stamp set released tonight!!

I am thrilled to be working with the UBER adorable á la modes in You Anchor Me!  I just LOVE her!!  For my projects tonight I created a gift set trio which includes a card, tag and decorated gift bag!

I started by stamping You Anchor Me in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card three times, colored them with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out.  All of the patterned paper is Summer Fresh by Simple Stories.

Here is my card.  After I cut her out I popped her up with Foam Tape onto two circles cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  The Kraft panel was embossed with the Stars Embossing Folder and I added some lace trim and saddle stitch ribbon.  To the bow I tied some twine and an anchor cut with the new Sea Charms Die-Namics.  A few vintage brads complete the front.

On the inside I added more patterned paper and stamped her onto a panel of Whip Cream Cardstock in Real Red ink.  I then stamped one of the sentiments from the set, "You Are My Anchor" and added some more brads.  The card base is Red Hot Cardstock.

For the gift bag I simply took a gift bag from my stash and created a panel for it.  I popped her up again onto panels cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-Namics.  I added another anchor cut with the Sea Charms Die-Namics to the bow.  LOVE that.

On the bottom of the panel I embossed another piece of Kraft Cardstock with the Stars Embossing Folder.  I used the new Sentiment Strips Die-Namics, cut from Whip Cream Cardstock, to stamp my sentiment on, "Your Love Is My Anchor".  Before attaching it to the panel I added a heart cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-Namics and cut from My Favorite Felt in Wild Cherry and a button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics.

Finally, I created a tag to round off my set.  I cut two pieces of Kraft Cardstock using the Tag You're It Die-Namics and embossed it with the Stars Embossing Folder.  I added more patterned paper, lace trim and ribbon, and this time I added the ship wheel, cut with the Sea Charms Die-Namics, to the ribbon with some twine.  A few more brads finish this one off.
