Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!
YAY! It's release night at My Favorite Things, and all of the AMAZING new stamp sets, Die-Namics, cardstock, ribbon, buttons and inks are available right HERE in the MFT Boutique! Before you fill your carts, the MFT Team has another look at each and every stamp set released tonight! I am SUPER excited to be able to share with you the ADORABLE new Doodle Garden Fluttering By!
I have two cards to share with you tonight, as this little gal is just way too much fun to color! For my first card, I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card, colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her top and skirt. All of the patterned papers are Family Ties from Pebbles.
I cut out the panel, and layered it with the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics. Her wings and butterfly wand are super sparkly from a coating of Crystal Stickles.
I used some of the Die-Namics from the brand new Blueprints 1 Die-Namics for the sentiment panel and embellishment, and I topped off the circle panel with a Nightshift Blue Button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside I layered two Sweet Tooth panels, and I stamped her again in the new Gumdrop Green Ink, and the sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice Ink.
Here are the Copic Markers I've used on my card:

My next card has a bit more of a springy feel, thanks to the Maggie Holmes papers from Crate Paper. I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her dress with the floral pattern I used in the background of my card.

I used the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-Namics underneath the ovals, and the new Party Banner Die-Namics for a fun accent. I also used the button die from the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics to cut the Razzle Berry Felt Button, which I tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside I added more patterned paper, and in Razzleberry Ink, stamped the sentiment, "fluttering by to say hi".
