MFT New Product Tour - Cupcake Cutie!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!! 

Welcome to the first day of the MFT New Product Tour!!  I am SO excited to have the privilege of sharing the ADORABLE new Cupcake Cutie set with you!!!  This is the first set from a new illustrator, Wendy Burns!!  I LOVE this new set!

I have two cards to share with you today, and my first card features one of the sketches shown on the MFT Blog for use with the AH-mazing new Blueprints 2 Die-Namics!  The Blueprints make me swoon!  

I started with a piece of X Press It Blending Card and cut it out, and layered it, with the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics and Blueprints 2 Die-Namics.  I then stamped this cutie, and her table of cupcakes.  I colored them with Copic Markers.

 

Here is a closeup!  She is REALLY fun to color, and on the cupcakes, I added Espresso Dimensional Pearls for the "chocolate".

I used a few different colors of MFT Cardstock for my card...Kraft, Pink Lemonade, Sno Cone and Factory Green.  I LOVE the elements in the Blueprints 2 Die-Namics, and I've used two here for the bottom of my card.  I topped it off with a Pink Lemonade Button and Hemp Cord.

On the inside I stamped "Happy Birthday" in the new Factory Green Ink, and colored the heart with Copic Markers.  I used more elements of the Blueprints 2 Die-Namics for the two label panels.

For my second card, I stamped her again onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.  I cut out the panel with Oval STAX 1 Die-Namics and Oval STAX 2 Die-Namics.

Here is a closeup.  I just love her sweet little face!

Using Banana Split Felt, I cut the flower using the Large Rolled Rose Die-Namics, and the leaves were cut with the Royal Leaves Die-Namics from Factory Green Cardstock.  I used the Fishtail Flags STAX for the trio of flag panels.

On the inside I added more patterned paper (Maggie Holmes from Crate Paper) and stamped a sentiment from the new Triple Scoop set, Chocolate Sentiments, "You're Sweet" in Electric Red ink.
