MFT July Release Rewind!

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!

Have you seen the incredible new MFT Release?  All of the new products are right HERE in the MFT Boutique!  Today and tomorrow the MFT Design Team is sharing more inspiration using products from the new release!

I have two cards to share with you today!  My first card features the new Happy Everything set along with the Happy Die-namics and the Diagonal Stripes Stencil!   I had lots of fun creating this!

I started by cutting some gold glitter paper from my stash with the new Happy Die-namics, which I simply LOVE.  I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and then laid the Diagonal Stripes Stencil on top.  Using Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink, Grapesicle Premium Dye Ink, Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink, I sponged the stripes.

I kept the stencil on and then sprayed the panel with MIX-able Sheer Shimmer Mist.  I SUPER love the shimmer it gives to the panel!  The sentiment, “Wishing You Everything”, from Happy Everything, was stamped in Versamark and then embossed with Black Embossing Powder.  I added a mat to the panel using Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics, and I added enamel dots and rhinestones.

On the inside, I added two more Smooth White Card Stock panels cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added a strip that was stenciled again with the Diagonal Stripes Stencil.  I stamped another sentiment from Happy Everything using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

My second card also features the new Happy Die-namics, Happy Everything stamp set, as well as the AMAZING new Confetti Background!  LOVE LOVE LOVE.

OK, this was SO easy and SO fun to create!  I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and using the new Confetti Background (did I mention I love this new stamp?), I stamped it, one color at a time, using the following inks, in the following order:  Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink, Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink, Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink, Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink, Razzle Berry Premium Dye Ink and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.  When done, I cut the panel with Blueprints 1 Die-namics to trim it perfectly.  I added a Smooth White Card Stock panel towards the bottom, topped with a panel of Translucent Vellum.   I then cut a piece of Razzle Berry Card Stock with the Happy Die-namics and popped it up onto the Translucent Vellum panel using Jody Boosters.   I added some gold enamel dots to finish it off.

Inside, I added another piece of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics.  I added a small panel stamped as above to tie into the front of the card.  I stamped “Birthday” from Happy Everything using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
