Is It Too Soon To Miss You? {SSSC272}

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!

Wow!  It’s been a bit quiet here on my blog!  I was SO blessed to spend a few days down in Florida at MFT Headquarters, so it’s been a little bit since I’ve been crafty!  I am SO excited to share with you a card I created for the new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC272!  I love this sketch, the big panel has so many possibilities!

I’ve used the DARLING new BB Adventure Is Calling set on my card today, as I had not had a chance to use her during the countdown.  Isn’t she SO sweet?  She is so fun to color as well!  I cut her from X-Press It Blending Card using the BB Adventure Is Calling Die-namics and, using the MISTI, stamped her using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using the new BB Adventure Is Calling set.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added some detail to her dress using a white gel pen.  I popped her up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of Primitive Cream Card Stock cut with the new Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

The rose was created using the new Rolled Scalloped Rose Die-namics cut from Pink Lemonade Card Stock.  I attached it to the card along with a bow of Hemp Cord.  I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to cut the Brown Paper Bag Prestige Card Stock panel.

The main panel was cut from Pink Lemonade Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and stamped with the new Lace Background using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I added a  mat of Primitive Cream Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics, before attaching the main panel to the card base with Jody Boosters.  I cut a panel of Cranberry Cocktail Prestige Card Stock and stamped it using the Romantic Script Background with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I thought these backgrounds worked well together, and worked towards the vintage vibe I was going for on this card.

On the inside, I added two more panels of Primitive Cream Card Stock, cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I added the sweet little bunny from BB Adventure Is Calling and colored him with Copic Markers.  The sentiment, “Is It Too Soon To Miss You” was stamped in Chocolate Brown Hybrid Ink and lined up perfectly using the MISTI.
