September MFT Release Countdown: Day One!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

It’s almost time!  The big release is tonight, and all of the new products will be available right HERE at 10PM!  Yay!

Today I have a card to share with you using the DARLING new London Mouse set, London Mouse Die-namics, Label Maker Sentiments and Label Tape Die-namics!  I just LOVE these new sets!

My daughter is OBSESSED with anything England related, and I created this card for her first day of 4th grade today!  As soon as I saw this set, I knew I wanted to create a scene.  I started by cutting a panel of Grout Gray Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and added a mat of Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.  I chose Grout Gray Card Stock for the sky as London is notorious for being overcast.  I cut another panel of Sweet Tooth Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and sponged the panel with Grout Gray Premium Dye Ink using the new English Brick Wall Stencil.  I trimmed the panel down for the street.

Using X-Press It Blending Card, I cut out the London Eye, building, Big Ben, telephone booth, trees, cab, clouds and guard using the London Mouse Die-namics.  I then stamped them all with Black LIcorice Hybrid Ink using London Mouse.  I colored them with Copic Markers and then added shimmer to the windows and the London Eye using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.   I arranged them all onto the panel, using Jody Boosters to pop up the trees, cab and guard.

I used the Label Tape Die-namics to cut out the panels for the sentiments, and stamped “GOOD LUCK” using Label Maker Sentiments using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.  LOVE.
