MFT April Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the April MFT Release!  This release is PACKED with cuteness!! I am SO excited!  Today I have a card to share with you featuring the ADORABLE new LJD Fly-By Friends set!  LOVE!!

Print

This card was SO.MUCH.FUN. to create!  I cut a panel of X-Press It Blending Card using Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics and repeatedly stamped the DARLING bee from LJD Fly-By Friends using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored them with Copic Markers and added shimmer to their wings using a Quickie Glue Pen and Cool Diamond Microfine Glitter. They are SUPAH sparkly in real life!

Print

I layered the stamped panel on top of a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock which I also cut with Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics, taking care to place them on opposite diagonals.  I popped them up with Jody Boosters onto a panel of patterned paper from the new Proper Pinstripes Paper Pack (LOVE), which I cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics.

I cut a strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and stamped “THANKS FOR BEE-ING THERE” from LJD Fly-By Friends using Versamark Ink and then embossed the sentiment using White Detail Embossing Powder.  I added it to the card and then added a strip of silver Decorative Glitter Tape

  9. I had forgotten the quickie glue pen could do that! You can really see it in the picture so I know it must be crazy sparkly in real life cause glitter is so hard to photograph!

  10. Jodi--loved the allover bee pattern. The Black Licorice ink and cardstock creates great contrast to that soft yellow!
