August MFT Release Countdown: Day One!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

We are THIS.CLOSE to the amazing MFT August Release!  All of the new products will be available tonight at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the adorable new Frightful Friends and Frightful Friends Die-namics!  These monsters are so cute!

Print

I started by creating my background, and I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics.  I then sponged on Periwinkle Premium Dye Ink, Boysenberry Premium Dye Ink and Eggplant Premium Dye Ink.  I then sprayed on a shimmer mist for a spooky sky!

I cut this cute vampire from X-Press It Blending Card using Frightful Friends Die-namics and stamped him with Frightful Friends using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added shimmer to his bat wings with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  It took A LOT of restraint to not make his face sparkly, ala Edward Cullen (grin).

I added a strip of patterned paper cut from Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack and added a strip of glitter tape.  I then popped Dracula up with Foam Tape, and added a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock, stamped with “FANGS FOR EVERYTHING” (haha) using Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.  I added a trio of bats cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock, and finished off my card with a trio of rhinestones.
