Hi everyone! Happy Monday!
My Favorite Things has another GORGEOUS new card kit for you all this month! I am SUPER in love with the new Doodled Blooms Card Kit, and have not been able to put it down! It will be released tomorrow night, March 21st, at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!
Aside from fabulous new stamps and Die-namics, this month’s kit features gorgeous new colored envelopes! They make me so happy!!
I am OBSESSED with creating watecolored backgrounds lately, and I created one for this card! I started with a panel of Watercolor Paper and watercolored Distress Inks (not Oxide inks, just standard Distress Inks) in a rainbow color scheme. Once the background was dried, I stamped two of the flowers and leaves from the GORGEOUS new Doodled Blooms stamp set using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed them with White Detail Embossing Powder.
The sentiment, from the fabulous new More Essential Sentiments stamp set, was stamped onto a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using Versamark Ink, and then I heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder. I attached it to the card along with a small strip of patterned paper from the Black & White Basics Paper Pack. A trio of rhinestones finish off the card.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created using the GORGEOUS new Doodled Blooms Card Kit!
