Have A Blast {With Distress Oxide Inks!}

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!

I recently purchased the new Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks, and I.AM.OBSESSED.  I literally spent two days just playing with these inks, and I cannot remember the last time I had SO much fun!  I created SO many backgrounds, and the ones I used on my card today is my FAVORITE!!

Print

I started with a panel of Black Licorice Card Stock and using then used three different Oxide Inks, Wilted Violet Distress Ink, Faded Jeans Distress Ink and Broken China Distress Ink, I created my background.  I sponged on the three inks, spritzed with the panel with water, and then repeated several times to create the background.  LOVE!!!

I cut out the astronaut and planets from X-Press It Blending Card using the Space Explorer Die-namics, and then stamped them using Space Explorer using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I then colored them with Copic Markers and coated the planets with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker.  I popped them up onto the background using Foam Tape, and then added some sparkle with rhinestones.  I added Hemp Cord to attach the astronaut, and the sentiment panel was cut from Sour Apple Card Stock, and I stamped “HAVE A BLAST!” from Space Explorer using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.
