August MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the FLAMAZING August MFT Release! I can’t WAIT for you all of the fabulous new products this month, which will be released on Tuesday, August 8th at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Seriously? How FUN is this flamingo! I had SO much fun creating this shaker card! I’ve used the new Flamazing, Flamazing Die-namics, Rectangle Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Rectangle Shaker Pouches and the Party Patterns Paper Pack! I started by cutting the tree, flamingo and flowers from Smooth White Card Stock using the Flamazing Die-namics, and I stamped them using Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, Cotton Candy Premium Dye Ink, Grout Gray Premium Dye Ink, Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, Green Room Premium Dye Ink and Chocolate Brown Premium Dye Ink. LOVE.

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I added a strip of patterned paper from the new Party Patterns Paper Pack across horizontally. I then cut the panel using the new Rectangle Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics and then added the frame, cut with the same Die-namics, from Grout Gray Prestige Card Stock. I filled one of the Rectangle Shaker Pouches with a variety of different sequins and then attached it to the back of the card. I then arranged the tree, flamingo and flowers and attached them with Foam Tape. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment, “WISHING YOU A FLAMAZING BIRTHDAY” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

    Jodi, this is a great shaker card. I love how you coordinated the two great colors from your card with the shaker elements. Together the card is so bright and cheerful. Thanks for sharing it on this release countdown hop.
