October MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the INCREDIBLE October MFT Release! We have SO many amazing new products this month, and they will all be released on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!

Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Polar Pals, Polar Pals Die-namics, A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics and the Drifts & Hills Stencil!

Oh how I LOVE this set, especially this DARLING narwhal (or as my daughter says, the unicorn of the sea!). This card was SO fun to create! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics, which were released last month. Using the innovative new Drifts & Hills Stencil, I sponged on the “sky” using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, and the “sea” using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I spritzed both inked sections with water, and for the “sky”, I spritzed on some watered down white acrylic paint. For the “sea”, I spritzed on some shimmer mist for a sparkly look. I added a row of Diamond Dust alongside the “sea” to differentiate it from the white section, which is the “snow” in my scene.

I cut the igloo, penguin, trees and narwhal from X-Press It Blending Card using the new Polar Pals Die-namics, and then stamped them all with Polar Pals using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored them all with Copic Markers, and I added some glitter to the narwhals horn for some extra shimmer and shine. I popped all of the images up using Foam Tape, and I stamped the sentiment, “To a Brrr-fect Friend” from Polar Pals using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it using White Detail Embossing Powder.
