Smile, You’re Awesome! {CTD460}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Wanda has challenged us to use the combination of navy, green and white! LOVE!!

I had so much fun playing with alcohol inks again for this challenge! I started with a panel of Yupo Paper cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, which I matted with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics. I then pulled out blue and green alcohol inks and created the background.

I die cut the “smile” using the Double The Smiles Die-namics, and I cut it from Smooth White Card Stock four times and then layered them together to create one thick die cut. I added that to the card, and then trimmed down a panel of Blueberry Prestige Card Stock and stamped “You’re Awesome” from the All Smiles set using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it using White Detail Embossing Powder. A trio of enamel dots finished off the card.
