October MFT New Product Launch!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Oh my WORD! It’s finally time! The FABULOUS October MFT Release is live and available right HERE, right now in the MFT Boutique!

Tonight I have a card to share with you using one of my absolute FAVORITE new sets from this incredible release, the gorgeous Handwritten Holiday! LOVE!! I’ve also used the new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, which has already become an essential tool in my stamp room!!

I started my card by cutting a panel of Ranger Watercolor Paper using the new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I then stamped “Merry & Bright” as well as the snowflakes, using Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed them with White Detail Embossing Powder.

Using Watercolor Brushes, I watercolored the background using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, Scattered Straw Distress Ink and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I took my time and added water and blended the colors until I was happy with how it looked. Once it was COMPLETELY dry, I used a tissue to buff off any ink from the stamped sentiment. I added a strip of patterned paper from the Black & White Basics Paper Pack before adding the card panel to a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics, and I added a trio of rhinestones to finish off my card.

    I love this! The colors are so bright and cheery! It reminds me of Christmas lights when I don't have my glasses on and they're all a little blurry! (It's actually quite pretty!) LOL :)
