Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
We are getting closer and closer to the FABULOUS October MFT Release! All of the new products will be released on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9PM EST right HERE in the MFT Boutique!
Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Dashing Deer, Dashing Deer Die-namics, A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics and the stunning new Handwritten Holiday!
I started by creating the background, and I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics and I sponged on Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I added water and watered down white acrylic paint to create the sky. I then cut two more panels of Smooth White Card Stock using the new A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics and then cut them again using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. I then added a mat to the entire panel using Smooth White Card Stock cut with the A2 Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics.
Using Versamark Ink, I stamped “Peace & Joy” from Handwritten Holiday, and then heat embossed the panel using White Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped “Peace & Joy” again using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, stamping it slightly to the left of the original sentiment for a shadow effect. The deer and the sprigs of holly were cut from X-Press It Blending Card using the new Dashing Deer Die-namics, and I stamped them with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink using Dashing Deer. I colored them with Copic Markers and then added them to the card using Foam Tape. I added shadows underneath the deer with Copic Markers and then added Diamond Dust for some shimmer and shine!
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created today, and for a chance to win an MFT Gift Certificate!
