Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! It’s time for the May MFT Birthday Project Challenge!
This month, we are creating projects that feature cakes, cupcakes and candles! SO fun! I went with cupcakes today…YUM!
I LOVE this sweet Pure Innocence Cupcake Day! I cut her, her hat and her balloon from No-Line Coloring Card using the Pure Innocence Cupcake Day Die-namics and then stamped them all using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink using Pure Innocence Cupcake Day. I colored them all with Copic Markers, making sure to add chocolate icing to my cupcake, and then put them aside.
The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 1 Die-namics and I sponged on Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I spritzed the panel with water and put it aside to dry. I cut “celebrate” four times from Smooth White Card Stock using the Celebrate DIe-namics. I layered them together and then attached the die-cut to my card. I then added my little girl, along with her hat and balloon, popping them up with Foam Tape. A trio of sequins completes the card.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Challenge Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created today!
Super sweet!!
