Hello–Consider This A Hug! {CTD496}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Lisa has challenged us to use the GORGEOUS combo of aqua, black & white! LOVE!

I’ve used the gorgeous new Moroccan Mosaic Stencil and Hello Die-namics from MFT for my card. I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I placed the Moroccan Mosaic Stencil on top and sponged on Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink, taking care to sponge lightly around the edges, and harder in the center, in order to obtain the variation of tone. Before removing the stencil, I sprayed the panel with shimmer mist, so the inked portion is SUPER sparkly in real life!

I cut “hello” four times from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Hello Die-namics, and then layered them together. I added the die-cut to my card, and then cut a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I stamped “Consider This A Hug” from Lots of Hugs using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it using WOW White Embossing Powder. I finished off my card with a trio of rhinestones.
