July MFT Release Countdown: Day Five!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

It’s time to begin the countdown to the FABULOUS MFT July Release! All of the incredible new products will be released on Tuesday, July 10th at 9PM EST!

Today I have a card to share with you using the AMAZING new Playful Peacock and Playful Peacock Die-namics! LOVE!

As soon as I saw these fabulous peacocks, I knew I wanted to create a card with an Alcohol Ink background! I began with a panel of Yupo Paper and cut it down using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. Using various Alcohol Inks, I created the background.

I cut the peacock from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Playful Peacock Die-namics and then stamped it using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink with Playful Peacock. I colored the peacock with Copic Markers, and then added shimmer to his feathers using a Clear Wink of Stella Brush Marker. I popped him up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics. The sentiment panel was cut from Cornflower Prestige Card Stock using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “To My Beautiful Friend” from Playful Peacock using Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed it using White WOW Embossing Powder. I finished off the card with a trio of Lily White Sprinkles.
