July MFT Release Countdown: Day One!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

We are almost there! The FABULOUS July MFT Release will be available tomorrow, July 9th at 10AM in the MFT Boutique! WOOT!

Today I have card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Mermaid for Each Other and the  Mermaid for Each Other Die-namics! I think this is my favorite new set of the entire release!

I just LOVE these little mermaids! I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. Using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, I created the sky. I then cut another panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then again using the Ocean Waves Die-namics. I sponged the panel with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I spritzed the panel with water and put it aside to dry.

I cut the mermaids, fish, crab, shell and star from No-Line Card Stock using the Mermaid for Each Other Die-namics, and then stamped them using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I then colored them all with Copic Markers, and once the oxide panel was dry, I attached it to the cloud panel, and then popped up all of the images with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment, "We Go Together Like Mermaids and Water", using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, from Mermaid for Each Other. LOVE!
