May MFT Birthday Challenge!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

It's time for the May MFT Birthday Challenge, and this month, the challenge is to create a personalized birthday card using any MFT alpha stamps or Die-namics! I had SO much fun with this one!

I made this card for my girls to give my Dad on his Birthday next month! They call him G-Pa, instead of Grandpa, so I thought it would be cute to put that on the card! Also, with the social distancing, when he comes to see us, he stands on the sidewalk and we all air hug, so I thought this little gnome was PERFECT (also - he may slightly resemble my Dad. LOL).

To begin, I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, I created the cloudy sky. The grass is Sour Apple Card Stock cut using the Grassy Hills Die-namics.

The gnome house was cut using the Gnome Place Like Home Die-namics, which I LOVE! How CUTE is this little house!!! LOVE IT!! I popped it up onto my scene using foam tape, and the cut this little grandpa gnome (lol) from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Hanging With My Gnomies Die-namics. I stamped him using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink with Hanging With My Gnomies, and then colored him with Copic Markers and Polychromos Colored Pencils. I popped him up next to his house using some more foam tape.

I stamped "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY", from Bitty Birthday Wishes, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and then used the Stitched Alphabet Die-namics to cut out "GPA" from Wild Cherry Card Stock. I arranged the GPA under the sentiment and viola, done!! SO fun and easy!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team have created for today's Challenge!
