Hi everyone! Happy Saturday and Happy Fourth of July!
We are halfway to the big day! The amazing July MFT Release will be available on Tuesday, July 7th at 10AM in the MFT Boutique!
Today I have a card to share with you using the TOTALLY adorable new Best Friends in the Universe and Best Friends in the Universe Die-namics! The cuteness factor is out of this world (see what I did there?).
I began by cutting all of the images from No Line Coloring Card Stock using the Best Friends in the Universe Die-namics, and then stamped them all with Best Friends in the Universe using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them all with Copic Markers and then added some highlights with a white gel pen.
The main panel is Smooth White Card Stock, and using Distress Oxide Inks, shimmer sprays and a white spray, I created the galaxy background. Once dry, I added the images, popping them up with foam tape. I then added in some stars, and then added the sentiment panel, which is just a panel of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock. I used Versamark to stamp the sentiment and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team have created, and for a chance to win an MFT Gift Certificate!

ReplyDeleteLove your ink blending! Great idea of using shimmer sprays for the night sky!
ReplyDeleteSo many great things going on in this card! Awesome job on this!❤️🥰
ReplyDeleteI usually think of using blues for the sky with dark blue reserved for night. But, I love the black night sky you created. I have some white spray so I am going to have to try your technique on a night sky card. I love the sentiments in this stamp set. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of the stamps and dies and you created a great sky for them.
