Hi everyone! Happy Prettie Wednesday!!!
Two weeks ago, Danielle (dlounds) challenged us to make a Shaker Card! These are so much fun to make and I haven't done one in ages!!! My shaker is filled with some rust colored beads and twigs.
I used this DARLING Sophia from Paper Pretties, Falling For You!! I just love her...total cuteness!!!
I am always in AWE of the uber-talented Michelle Zindorf, and she has to most amazing tutorials on her blog for how she rocks a brayer!! I decided to try my hand at it, and while it is certainly no Zindorf creation, I am super happy with it!!
Sophia was colored with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Gamsol. Once I had her colored, I used a Versamarker and then clear embossed her, as well as the leaves. Once she was embossed, I then busted out my brayer and went to town! So much fun!!
This card is on it's way to the super fabulous Charmaine!!
Please check out what the other Prettie Girls have done with this super fun challenge!!
Julie is also going to be challenging us today! Cannot wait to see what she has in store!!
Speaking of store (ha ha!!), you really should go on over to Paper Pretties! Christie is having a super fabu sale that you don't want to miss out on!
Here are the deets!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
