Hi everyone!!! Happy Friday still!!!
Here is my card for today's (tomorrow's) Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC147. Stef challenged us with some GORGEOUS Domino Paint Palettes, and I chose #32. I LOVE the turquoise with the stark white molding, and that is where I started on my card. I also LOVE the cluster of fall flowers that is so striking against the turquoise, so I used my Pocket Silhouettes Set and with my SU! Markers, applied the ink directly to the stamp, huffed & stamped. I wanted to keep this card SUPER simple, so I just added piercing on my thick *moldings* and stamped the sentiment right over the flowers. I must admit, I was thinking of where I could put ribbon or brads...but I fought the urge and kept it simple. I have to say...I really like this!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

ReplyDeleteWow, those flowers really pop against all that blue and white.
ReplyDelete...and WAY TO GO on no embellies. It looks fantastic just the way it is. :)
So elegant Jodi. I just love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous! I love the pop of orange against the turquoise, and the fact that it is unembellished really makes the colors stand out.
ReplyDeleteLike it? I LOVE it. It's such a challenge for me to keep cards simple. You did a great job with this! After this creation, you should go throw allllll of your embellies in the trash...LOL!
ReplyDeletehave a great day!

Hi Jodi - I came across this card today and it is exactly what I needed for a card. I made one exactly like it - I even used all of the same colours and supplies. I hope you do not mind. It was so much fun to make - put my piercing skills back in to use. Thanks.
